Tentative Schedule - Please arrive between 8-8:30AM
Break-out sessions will continue to be updated till the collaboration day. AGENDA
The day is broken into four major events:
1. Large Group - Keynote presentation
2. Break-out sessions - Teachers sharing
3. Coaches Demonstrations- Coaches sharing specific technology tools (Way cool!)
4. Collaboration - Find colleagues (near or far) to talk with and build relationships. Use the Library or Auditorium at anytime during the day.
Last year’s cohort one coaches from Central PA met on a regular basis to collaborate and support each other. Our goals were to build collaboration, share insights, help find solutions to common problems, and build communication between the schools. These goals where accomplished and our meetings where extremely helpful. Many wonderful relationships and activities between the coaches and teachers have grown from these meetings.
Over the summer, we began planning our move to the next level by bringing specific content area teachers from our districts, identified as doing exemplary work, together to show how they are using the CFF tools to change their pedagogy. These teachers showcase/share during our collaboration days so others learn and take ideas back to their schools. It was thought, “Why reinvent the wheel when we can all work together and share our ideas?”
